Molly F. McCracken is a collage and mixed media artist working in Falls Church, Virginia. She takes a playful, process-driven approach to her work, even when the subject matter is sometimes heavy. Molly’s intent is to bring feelings, personal history and women’s issues, (among other things), to light in a beautiful and often humorous way using lots of color and satisfying shapes. Molly also teaches a wide variety of classes for all ages, which inform her own practice through conversations and connections made. Inspiration is all around, in passing clouds and rocks on the beach, in people and places, in immediate emotions and warm nostalgia.
